VIJAY SURPRISE TO JAYAM RAJA..

At the shooting spot of Velayudham, Vijay threw a surprise birthday party to director Jayam M Raja on Monday. A cake cutting ceremony during the break was the highlight of the occasion.

A chocolate cake was cut in the presence of unit and Raja�s family members. It was a pleasant surprise for the director since Vijay did not inform anyone about his plan, sources say.

Vijay and Raja have struck a friendship during the shootiung of Velayudhjam and they now share an excellent rapport.

After directing brother Jayaram Ravi for five films, Raja is directing a big hero like Vijay for the first time. Velayudham is produced by Aascar V Ravichandran and it features Genelia and Hanshika opposite Vijay.

Raja had said several times that he was a big fan of Vijay and the actor too had appreciated Raja's directorial skills after watching all his films in the past.
